Services Provided by FRG Lions Club

The Fox River Grove Lions Club provides several services for individuals and donates to some organizations in the McHenry County area. Proceeds from our fundraisers benefit some of the below;

Eye Glass Exams

The Fox River Grove Lions provide eyeglass exams and glasses for those with sight impairment and financial limitations. For more information on this please contact us.

Eye Glass Drop-Offs

Lions Club members and volunteers collect recycled eyeglasses and hearing aids to be reconditioned and redistributed. Eyeglasses are cleaned, sorted by prescription, and distributed to mission groups who then distribute them to people with a low income or in third-world countries.

Hearing Aids

The Fox River Grove Lions provide a limited number of hearing aids for individuals with a need and have financial limitations.

College Scholarships

The Fox River Grove Lions provides a limited number of scholarships each year to two 8th-grade scholars and Cary-Grove High School Seniors.

Meeting Schedule

The Fox River Grove Lions Club meets on the first and third Mondays of each month April through December and the third Monday, January through March.
